These reflective, meditative pieces were inspired by nature: her patterns are simple and repetitive, yet build into the great complexities of life. This album makes similar use of simplicity and repetition, along with the offbeat mutations of experimentation and happy accidents.

The album contains no words at all, expressing pure feeling rather than verbalised thought.

Holl uses Ableton Live Standard with mainly Spitfire LABS and Originals virtual instruments, along with a few from East West's Composer Cloud and Output's Arcade.

'Oceans' features the voice of Alev Lentz, from her Spitfire VST. Other sounds from the same VST appear throughout this album.
